The black dragon is the most common dragon in Richterm's Retreat: Nordock. It thrives in swamps and has been reported in such remote places as Hissing Bogs and T'rel. They breath acid and thus acid can’t hurt them. Their livers are used by weaponcrafters for some great quarterstaffs, and tastes wonderful together with spinach and peas.

Even if they are rather easy to hunt down, there are some more reknown dragons like Lord Drakonor that hunt the land and are a major danger to travellers.
