Travelling Halflings

Favored Class: Any (The jack of all trades necessity has hampered their luck, but given them versatility.)

These are Halfling families that have chosen to make traveling their way of life. Unlike many of the nomadic branches, these clans have no set pattern to their wanderings. They often depend entirely o­n the guidance of their family or clan priest or priestess to decide where they may end up for any given week. They are also considered the most stable of the nomadic Halflings, as they stop in a particular location for weeks, months, or even years until they are guided to again pick up and move to a new place. These traveling Halflings are most like their sedentary cousins; they enjoy simple pleasures, a simple life, and a good party. They will base their lives off the resources they are given in their current living place; o­ne month they may be farmers, the next miners, the next still fisherman or foresters. Thus, most of these Halflings have become jack-of-all-trades. They end up learning a little about practically everything, so anyone in a family can take care of any job that needs to be handled. These Halflings trade whatever they have available for whatever they need, though finding any particular settlement or family can often be a difficult task for the trader, as they are liable to uproot and move from o­ne place to another between visits.
