Instant Boot

Hello,

I've been looking for roleplay servers on NWN and tried to log into yours only to find that I am instantly booted when I log in. I don't behave badly so I'm guessing this is a cd key issue. My account name is HabeoPhaIemMaximum.

Nordock issues a unique authentication key, per each unique set of CD keys. If you have downloaded the game from GoG, you have generic keys and they are already in use – this is why you would be booted. Please see this post: viewtopic.php?f=5&t=656

I don't have the standard issued key from GOG. I've run into this issue on other Nordock servers when changing computers or accounts. My guess is I logged in some extremely long time ago on an account I no longer use.

Which version are you trying to log onto? Epic, Classic or Difficult? I've added your key to Difficult, but that should not be the trouble. Please try again, and let us know exactly what message you are getting. Your log messages, if possible, not the pop-up.

EDIT: I have reset both Epic and Classic, try again when you can.

The vault was cleaned out and I'm able to log into difficult now. Thanks.

Ahh, okay. I guess that adding your authentication key to Diff fixed it. I am still learning.

One thing to note - if we had not added these authentication keys to Nordock, anyone would have been able to log into your account. (Thanks, Gamespy! )
