Richterm's Retreat Nordock

There seems to be some sort of bug with the rocks in the duergar mines, as everytime I hit them (and yes I have a pickaxe equipped), no message appears in the combat box. Tried relogging to see if that would fix it but to no avail. Help?

Rest, and then try to mine again. Sleep is good.
