Hello, I'm back from m.i.a.

I was trying to log in on the server with my username "Xillie" and found none of my characters. I went MIA around half februari 2014, so they must have gone missing since.

Could they be backed-up and possibly restored?

You're lucky that I kept a partial backup from the inactive server wipe :p I've restored you as you were March 24, 2014.

Xillie, I can help fix this any time today. Please name a GMT time. I am available from 14:00 until about 21:00, I will peek in from time to time, to see if you are around. In the meantime, I am asking Raradra for a reset, hoping that fixes the DB issue for now.

Well it turns out that reconnecting the database revealed that my skillpoints apparently are still in there
(please make backup as its easily lost/deleted )

If you really have the experience that two game connections from 1 IP destroys the DB connection (and it's NOT a firewall "reaction") I might set up two machines behind one IP for testing this issue.

Shake me if you need that, for now thanks for the restore

For some strange reason, when two accounts on the same network use the same game port, it causes several problems with the server. It is not just this server, other PWs have reported the same issue. We have learned that it causes characters to not be able to level, resurrections do not work, various other weird issues. :-/

Raradra will have to answer for any testing. I can only help with some things in game.
