Btw, any news on progress? I know extracting acronis images can yield "corruption" errors among different versions and stuff.
Or, any chance Murphy may still have a say?

Several days still, but if you're keeping your current vault and staying on epic than play away as you won't be affected

I don't think this should be discussed in the public forums, but I do second Valikar. I'd be more than willing to help him with Classic and I could do Development for DOH if needed or wanted, but I'm not touching Epic. Not because I hate it or anything, it's just a very volatile mod.

Epic has no resources left to add to it. At best we could make a few alterations (like adding handaxe choices). We wont be able to add any areas. It's pretty much what you see is what you get. By the same token, some wont do DM events on classic since it's so difficult to do events with no ILR. So I think it balances out in the end.

I would run events on Classic. Any characters with hasted items who are under level 12 or so, would need to unequip them.

So the votes are in and we'll restore them all. We're just waiting for the IP's and then we'll be good to go
Note that epic will not receive any future area or quest additions, but classic might per the dev team.
We'll let you guys know here and on FB once we get everything turned on.

Missed the Vote, but I would have picked all three servers. After restoration, I would like to see what old characters I have still around. in the old vault. I have local copies of most of them. Much thanks to keep this going.

Please note that Serverhost has been super busy with it being this time of year. We're looking at the restoration being in January.

So, ILR will still be turned on and a strip server added to the event server for a month or so, but the epic default vault will be what it is now. Anyone wanting their original epic characters need only ask.
Just to point out, in case it was overlooked - with ILR, we will always need a strip server available, in case a character dies and loses a level.
