Naming Conventions for RR Nordock

Wrong thread. This thread is about character creation names, what is acceptable or not. I've replied in the Vault and Character editing thread.

Using a name from popular fiction (including the Original NWN Campaign) is not good roleplay. Unless you intend to be an NPC, or be treated exactly like that character, do not make this your character's name.

By the way, NPCs do not get to play and level.

To simplify all of the above: Please make a sensible name for your character. First Name + Last Name will do perfectly well. Don't use names that are well-known (Gandalf) or just nouns (Death). Use what the random name generator creates and change a few syllables if you're unsure of what to do.

If anyone sees this character in-game, please let them know that the name must be changed to fit our RP conventions. Jabbress may be a title that other drow call you, but is not allowed in your name unless you are an NPC: Jabress L'elgcaress of the Bow must be changed. You are not 'Mistress' anything, let alone 'Mistress B***h', unless you are the lead DM. Also - TetheredGoat, you will need to go back to Steam or GoG or wherever you purchased your copy, and obtain a multiplayer key. You will not be able to continue playing here with the generic NWN single-player key that came with the download, which is what you are currently using.
