Yea, i dunno what a tag is and i dislike facebook, but i tried sending her some message there today, assuming it is a tag.

A tag is when you type someones name on Facebook an option becomes available to 'autocomplete' their name, and it sends the facebook user a notification they've been 'tagged' in a post.
